REBECA BROWN 
Rebeca is a political studies graduate of Trinity Western University where she was involved with the TWU Conservative Club.  In the 2011 election she volunteered for Mark Warawa and currently works as the Casework Manager in his office. She is looking forward to being a part of the team.

ANNETTE DEKRAKER  
Annette is a lifelong Conservative supporter and currently the Executive Assistant to Mark Warawa in his Langley Constituency Office. She has held the position of VP in the EDA and has also worked on various committees including, currently, our People committee. Annette is interested in serving on the board again and in participating in the riding redistribution process.

PAUL FAST   
Paul is a long serving member of the EDA. In recent years he has been the Secretary and the Chair of the Membership Committee as well as volunteer extraordinaire at events. Paul was a teacher for nineteen years and a clergyman for twenty-three.

TANYA TAIT    
Until very recently, Tanya has served as Communications Press Secretary for Conservative Members of Parliament in Langley for the past 20 years. She has also served 13 years as a Langley EDA Director. Tanya has been the CPC Langley federal Campaign Manager in 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2011. Tanya has served on many public boards and service organizations in Langley, including the 2010 Olympics, the Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, and Special Olympics BC.Tanya lends her expertise in Communications, PR, Newsletter Publishing, and Election Readiness. 


JOHN HOF    
John is a long serving director of the Langley EDA and currently serves as chair of our Riding Redistribution Committee. During the 2011 campaign, through rain and wind, John put in a huge effort as signs manager along with wife Suzanne. John will continue to work to ensure that no other political party ever represents Langley—Aldergrove’s citizens.


MARGARET HSIEH  
Margaret is a student at Capilano University taking paralegal studies. She has a degree in life sciences from the University of British Columbia. Margaret is fluent in Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Cantonese, and she is able to understand languages such as Korean and Japanese. During the 2011 campaign Margaret volunteered as part of the office staff using the computers and telephones. Currently, Margaret sits as a member of our People Committee and in the past year has been involved in organizing several community events.

URSULA NEUSCHELER   
Ursula has served as a Fund Raising Chair  2012 successfully organized several fundraising initiatives including a breakfast with our MP and for the first time a Christmas Turkey Sales program. Ursula is looking forward to another year of successful fund raising from both current and new donors. During the 2011 Campaign Ursula coordinated volunteers. Ursula is an ESL teacher, and volunteers at both her daughter's school and at their church. She is involved in the homestay program through the Langley School board and is currently a homestay parent to two teenage girls.


JAMES PRATT   
Jim has been a member of the EDA Board since 2007. He has been a member of several committees and currently serves as our Financial Agent. During the 2011 election campaign Jim was Chair of the Campaign Fundraising Committee. A long-time resident of Langley, Jim has coached soccer and basketball at the youth level. Jim is a former CEO and CFO of a TSX-listed Company.

MICHAEL PRATT   
Michael is in grade twelve and has been a board member since January 2012. Along with his sister Elizabeth, also a former board member, he is a co-founder of Langley Youth for the Fallen: A Walk to Remember, a project to commemorate the Canadian soldiers who fell in Afghanistan. He is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medallion and was named the "Top Newcomer" at the University Model Parliament in Victoria in early January 2013.

STEVE SCHAFER    
Steve has served on both CIMS and Membership Committees in recent years on our EDA Board. He is our go-to expert on all things involving technology. Steve is political junkie who shows up everywhere to participate in meetings and discussions on politics. He is a local businessman who is currently working towards a Masters in Business Administration.

RITA THIESSEN    
Rita has served on the Board since 2010, and is a Past Secretary.  During the 2011 Federal Election, Rita was the office manager for Mark Warawa's Campaign office. Family life keeps her busy, but she always finds time to happily volunteer in the community and at her church.

TAKO VANPOPTA    
Tako has supported the Conservative party and its predecessor parties for years and is currently serving on the Langley EDA Board as its president. Tako is a long time Langley resident, a business lawyer and managing partner of a Surrey law firm. he is the Past President
