The Conservative Internship program is now open. Make money while you learn from Canada's top political minds!

1/25/2013

Deadline Feb 15! The Conservative Internship Program application process is open!
Make money while you learn from the country's top political minds.

The Conservative Internship Program is a unique opportunity to learn about politics, develop your skills as a Conservative campaigner, and help to build the Conservative Party of Canada. Interns from across Canada spend the summer in Ottawa working in a political office, participating in political training, and hearing from some of the sharpest political minds in the country.

If you are registered as a student in a recognized post secondary institution and are currently a member of the Conservative Party of Canada, you are eligible to apply.
The program runs for four months, from April 30, 2013 until August 23, 2013. Please note Orientation day is April 30, 2013. Attendance for the entire duration of this period is absolutely mandatory.

The application process includes completing the application form (found on the CPC Energy website - www.cpcenergy.ca,) writing four short essays, (as outlined on the application form) and including a CV and cover letter. At least one political reference is recommended. This person could be a Conservative Member of Parliament, Senator, Candidate, National Councilor, campus club president, campaign team member, or a director from a Conservative Electoral District Association.

If you have any questions about the internships, please direct them to Richard Clark, National Youth Organizer (richardclark@conservative.ca) or Marc-Oliver Fortin (marcolivierfortin@conservative.ca).
