About

“Beautiful Langley—Aldergrove” is a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family. It is made up of a number of unique and vibrant communities, including Aldergrove, Brookswood, Fernridge, Fort Langley, Murrayville, Walnut Grove, Willoughby, Bradner-Mt Lehman and Aberdeen.

History

The riding of Langley—Aldergrove was created by Elections Canada in the 2013 Electoral Redistribution Order. It came into effect in the 2015 Federal Election.

Boundaries

The riding is largely made up of the previous riding of Langley, while also including a western portion of the City of Abbotsford. It does not include the City of Langley and a North-West portion of the Township of Langley, which extends South of Highway One and West of 200th St.

The boundary extends as far North as the Fraser River and as far South as 0 Ave. On the West side of the riding, the boundary runs North on 196th St from 0 Ave along Township boundaries. The boundary continues around the City of Langley boundaries and runs North along 200th St until Highway 1, at which point the western boundary returns to 196th St and heads North to the Fraser River.

On the East Side of the riding, the boundary runs North on Mount Lehman Rd from 0 Ave. The boundary follows Mount Lehman Rd North to Highway One, and follows Highway One West until Bradner Rd. The boundary continues North on Bradner Rd to the Fraser River.
